Well following a recipe for Jeanne's "BEST" lemon bars, so far has not turned out favorably. The filling is sticky, too sweet, not lemony enough (overpowered by the shortbread crust), and didn't get like a little fluffy. They are not the "BEST". They are not even just regular best. Please send me the actual best recipes for lemon bars.

I think what was implied by the quotation marks was "Best Yet" as in, looking over the shambolic history of Jeanne's lemon bar attempts, this sad offering was regrettably, the Best.
You know. I'm really tired about hearing this. They were not bad! Someone has been eating them whenever he (or she!!) goes into the kitchen.
Ironically, since work life gave us lemons, you have us lemon bars.
